Increasing the efficacy of multicultural teams within international organizations

Anna’s passion is making organizations more efficient through working with teams to improve organizational processes and increasing the motivation of employees through increased employee empowerment.

She has over 15 years of experience working in challenging multicultural environments helping businesses and not-for-profits set up new offices and functions in Japan.  She has taken on roles relating to change management in functions as diverse as Marketing, HR, IT and business development in Japan-based projects for the Royal Bank of Scotland Insurance Group, Tesco and the British Council in Japan.

Among Anna’s other skills, she holds a graduate-level qualification in Evidence Based Coaching, is a certified MBTI assessor and has as excellent reputation for developing others and breaking down silo working.  Anna has coached individuals from a variety of countries in Asia and is also known for her skill in providing valuable insights precisely because of her ability to view issues from multiple cultural perspectives.

Anna also prides herself on ensuring that organizational change connects to organizational growth whether that is in terms of revenue or other measures. She has successfully implemented several projects that have delivered increases in revenue and reduced operational costs, as well as supporting leaders to increase the impact of their teams and organizations.

She does this not just through her experience and expertise to date, but also finds inspiration from her personal interests in the Japanese arts of self-defence (in which she holds two black belts), hill walking and textile design.
